A new law in Saudi Arabia bans women’s ‘tempting eyes’.
The draconian law states that women with alluring eyes will be forced to wear a full veil. The decision to control women’s appearance was taken by the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice.
It was announced by spokesman of Saudi Arabia’s religious police, Sheikh Motlab al Nabet, who said, “The men of the committee will interfere to force women to cover their eyes, especially the tempting ones. We have the right to do so.”
Journalists keep guessing what kind of cretarium would be used to estimate so-called “temptingness”. One Saudi unnamed journalist suggested that they are “uncovered eyes with a nice shape and makeup. Or even without makeup, if they are beautiful, the woman will be in trouble.”
