Before 2015 general election its important to make some estimates to figure out the real effectiveness of governmental policy. This time is comparative analysis of oil sales of Jonathan’s administration and Yaradua, Obasanjo, Abdusalami, Abacha administrations combined.
Mainly based on information provided by The Nigerian Central Bank, the US EAI and OPEC, Sahara Reporters presented comparative analysis of the performance of the past  and present Nigerian administrations.
To get this figures Sahara Reporters took average monthly production and calculated how much dollars volumes Nigeria sold each year. For calculation of inflation it is used 2.5% annual $ inflation rate and in perspective $1.00 in 1999 is equivalent to $1.44 in 2014.
